Thyme
Thymus vulgaris
Why We Love It:
Thyme is a common herb found in many gardens and kitchens. It has long been regarded as an herb that strengthens the lungs and helps to quell a cough. It is a tonic that can be taken on a regular basis to help support the immune system and soothe sore throats or congestion.
What It Looks Like:
Thyme is a member of the mint family and is very aromatic. It grows as a small shrub with woody stems, small leaves, and tiny pink flowers. Native to southern Europe, it is commonly grown around the world in temperate climates.
