Rosehip
Rosa spp.

Why We Love It:
Rose has a beautiful, light aromatic smell, which is why it is such a popular flower. That’s right, the flowering plant you have seen so many times in gardens and front yards is a helpful herb! Though you can use the entire plant, we use the fruiting body of the plant, called rosehips. Rosehips contain fatty acids and several antioxidants that can be used to deeply moisturize skin and even be used on scars and blemishes.
Rosehips are generally safe for all skin types, but allergic reactions can occur. If you experience allergy symptoms, refrain from using products with rosehips as an ingredient.
What It Looks Like:
Roses have long, thorn-covered stalks that flower with five petals. Each petal is defined by two distinct lobes that range in color from red, pink, white, or yellow.
