Apart from offering a soothing sensation, chamomile has been known to be an effective scent to induce relaxation and promote sleep.
Chamomile is generally safe to use topically; however, chamomile allergies can occur. If you are allergic to plants in the Asteraceae family, be sure to exercise caution before using products that contain the herb.
What It Looks Like:
Chamomile is a highly aromatic herb with finely cut leaves and small, many-rayed white flowers with yellow centers. The chamomile flowers bloom daily throughout the growing season and easily reseed themselves.
